Examination Requirements and Application Procedures
CDAA Qualification Examination Requirements (Level 1)
- Age: 18 years old and above.
- Registration, application and payment of fees.
- Applicants must possess the following qualifications:
Educational requirements:
- Hong Kong and overseas residents: Must have an associate degree or bachelor's degree or above
- Mainland residents: Must hold an associate degree or above
Work experience (meeting one of the following):
- Have more than 3 years of work experience, regardless of industry
- Have more than 2 years of work experience in finance, accounting or IT-related industries
- Have more than 1 year of work experience related to Digital Assets
- Currently enrolled students pursuing a bachelor's degree or above, and are within 24 months of graduation.
Registration Process (Level 1)
- Create a Hong Kong Chartered Digital Asset Analyst account.
- When registering the account, you need to provide:
- (1) Personal information: Name, passport (applicable to mainland China or overseas) or Hong Kong identity card (applicable to Hong Kong residents), phone number and email address.
- (2) Educational information: University or college, academic qualifications and degree, major, graduation date.
- (3) Employment information: Resume, focusing on whether you have work experience related to Digital Assets.
- (4) Proof of a student: If you are a student, please select the expected graduation date and provide a scanned copy or photo of your official proof of enrollment.
- Select examination date.
- The Institute conducts a review to confirm that applicants meet all examination requirements.
- Applicants pay examination fees.
- The Institute issues examination notification.
Examination Time and Fees
Level 1 first examination date:
June 28, 2025
(Registration for the first examination has closed)
Second examination date:
August 30, 2025

Note: If an applicant voluntarily withdraws from the examinatino, registration fees and examination fees will not be refunded.
